🙆🏼‍♂The problem of getting the first user should not arise if you are building a solution to a problem you noticed somebody is going through and it becomes easier if that user is you .
✅Goal of pre-lauched Startup
❇Launch quickly(MVP) no matter how bad
get some initial customer anyone your product can add value to,
talk to your users and get feed back. You must not build everything to get feedback.
❇Iterate: continue to improve on your solution until it solves the problem.
Build lean MVP. Condense down to limited feature
Focus on the priorities of users problem have a large vision with a small MVP
❇With exception to high tech solution which need higher resources for MVP
although this could also start With a website.
*Hack to building your MVP*
✅Inbox your spec
✅Write your spec down
✅Cut your spec
✅Don't fall in love with your MVP
❌Don't ask users for features to include on your product rather ask them for the problem. most time users could state feature that does not have continuous problem
✅The _major reason_ for the *Feedback* you get  from your MVP is to know if you MVP solves the problem of the user  you intend  to solve. Make sure your MVP solves the user problem and solve it daily or frequently

✅The problem of startup are multivariate and so MVP should  target both growth and retention
✅Whenever  you are still asking if you have Product- Market- Fit you don't have product market fit
✅Product market fit is an  ideal state but not in reality
✅Getting more users does not mean product market fit. Product market fit means your under continues pressure to meet users demand
✅KPI set of quantitative metrics that indicate how healthy your business is doing
✅KPIs( Key performance Index)
primary metrics and secondary metrics
✅Focus on primary metrics that reflect real usage of the product
Primary metrics should either be base on revenue or active user although there exception to this rule
✅If you have two users focus on the metrics that combine both e.g Uber has driver and riders focus on trips also AirBnB has Host and guest. The metrics should be booking
✅For  those working on  high tech start up goals check up

✅For a holistic approach select your primary metrics with 2 to 3 secondary metrics.
✅The major focus of your start up is growth and the goal of every start up is to grow primary metrics.
✅Narrow your growth goal to smaller time chunk such as weekly etc
✅A typical growth target  in YC is 5 to 10% weekly.
set your weekly goal and make it plain.
✅Your dream might start looking  smoth but ends up looking zigzag never be discourage
✅If don't hit your goals once or twice in a week you should ask why, if he answer does not come from you go talk to more users.
